Default Beautiful workmanship

I found this fellow's site quite by accident. His latest project seems to be a 1/10 BRDM-2. Really great work.
If I understand his site he just lost his father and has put his work on hold ( been there done that twice, once
after losing mom then dad know how being lost feels).

Hadn't seen his site or work mentioned before, apologies if redundant.

Anyway check it out: http://kostructor.altervista.org/brdm2.htm

Jerry,
Wow, talent doesn't even begin to discribe that project. Im my opinion, pure artistry works better. That gentalmen is obviously a master of the master craftsman. Jerry, I hope you'll keep tabs on this and let us know when more pics are avalable.
Thanks for sharing.

When we see your work. Besides, why bother. It would just get pushed off the front page from all the off-topic threads and complaining.

Anyway, don't worry about me. I am working on things everyday.

HA HA HA!!! SO Funny, NOT!!!
Just curious to see some of your contributions, considering you've been a member far longer than me and seemingly like to put me on the spot because I haven't rushed any of my projects for posting. I've searched thru as many of your posts and threads as I could possible to find some and I haven't. Just curious is all.
I mean, I have shown tanks that I've been working on, such as my Tiger 100....I've yet to see any of yours, could you direct me to some?

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming that you haven't produced any work.... I'd just like to see it for a change.

Sorry Tanque for being off topic.<br type="_moz" />

I wish I could do what that guy has done. This is a real masterpeice.

I think you have to have a passion for the subject matter. I wonder if that is steel or aluminum? Bet that puppy weighs about 40lbs!

Tony you are also talented and do a great job. Your Tiger 100 is tops.

I've seen Jeff's work and that is also top shelf. Jeff does a lot for collectors, and commision work.

Amazing talent. With this minute attention to detail, this guy could be making 1;1 scale. How many people would hand make all the parts of the leaf springs, then cover it all up and mount it behind the wheel, totally hidden from view? Wonder if he also cast the tires. Be interesting to hear the motor/engine he will put in it.

Obviously, he a is a very experienced engineer and at least this fine attention to detail is keeping his mind off other disturbing parts of his life, so it's fun/hobby/therapy....and making all of us feel very insignificant.... all in one amazing project. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, BiggTony ... you've only been here for what, 5 months and you're already calling out members here on the forum? I just finished a 2 year build last November RIGHT HERE on this forum.

Don't be so thin-skinned about the lurking/trolling comment. You were complaining about not being able to finish your tanks and I only made an observation about you being camped out here on the forum ALL THE TIME. So give it a rest son.

And as far as being put on the spot, you did it to yourself, so go build something and show it off! GESH!

EDIT Here's what you couldn't find: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6601231/tm.htm

And here's a current one in progress: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9603584/tm.htm

And a finished one: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_51...tm.htm#5189053

And of course there are all the others I built before becoming a member here, the M4 Sherman, the M26A1 Pershing, the T34WSN conversion plus all the Profiline and Asiatam kits I need to get HL tanks for and the 5 other Tamiya FO tanks in the closet I have yet to get to.

First of all, get off the high horse. Tenure has nothing to do with asking to see your work, can't I be curious? This is the second time you'vementionedthis "I've been here longer than you crap....get off of it or show your credentials that proves your of upper rank ofmightierthan thou. You've made comments beyond that and you know it, so don't act so innocent just because you need to keep potential customers in mind. You've asked me to produce examples of things I've explained to people as if to question whether I truly "practice as I preach." Look around if you care to, I'm sure you'll find my examples.

I'm not as thin skinned as you like to think, but I surely won't have my integrity, my participation with in the forum, and desire to actually share and relate tomembershere made a mockery of, simply because you deem my posts and time here misplaced.

Jeff,

That Strumtiger looks great, however my attention was drawn to the pictures you have on the wall behind it. What is the story with those? They look very interesting.
