Default WSN T-34/Tamiya Electronics

Well guys i did it again. i went FO with one of my new T-34/85's. Everything is going great. just need too know if anyone knows how too hook up the WSN recoil and flash trigger too the 3 wire Tamiya plug. The T-34 has what looks like 4 wires too perform this function but the Tamiya system only needs 3. Anybody try this before? Help a brother out. LOL Oh, I'm using the Tamiya KV-1 electronics package the TO-6 and MF 08 i believe the numbers are. thanks again.

So it looks like i have to provide my own micro switch and configure it too work off of the cam instead of the contact switch that is stock on the WSN gun. Is this correct klank? It also looks like a black wire acting as a common is that what it is and where does it go. Good pics though, lots of help thanks.

Thanks again, those pics really helped. I have a spare Tamiya early Tiger recoil unit I can grab the micro switch from AND the 3 wire plug from it so I should be good too go.

Well got everything done and she works fine. Just cant remember how to get the transmission to engage. Did it it test start up but dont remember what to do too run her. LOL It acts like the Pershing but I'm not used to it being set up that way. I also used one of those aluminum cone speakers, WOW is it loud holloy smokes. sounds cool a hell with the engine revs. I used the DMD and MF units from the KV-1 Can any body tell me how too get her too move now. LOL

I just move the stick up and down on my Tx for my Pershing a few times you will see the tank jump a little when it unlocks it should be the same way for the KV-1 units this is with a DX5e .
What Tx do you have the manual say to move trim up and down to unlock if you dont have digital trims .

I'm using a Futaba Skysport 75 it sounds like it is unlocking but nothing happens i think. I'll keep working on it tomorrow, enough for today my eyes are bleeding.

after start up. move the throttle trim tab all the way down then move the throttle stick down, then up in a quick motion. it should have movement then.

Sounds like it will be a good fighter Gregg. Will you be brining that T34 on Sunday to the NEAD tank battle day in NJ? Bob

Hey guys, is the gun elevation motor & turret traverse motor loud on your T34s? Mine is undeniably annoying[:@]
Do you have any remedy for this since I intend to upgrade mine in this direction. Thanks

I have 3 WSN T-34/85's and all 3 are very loud. That is one of the future projects in mind for the one I just converted too all Tamiya electronics is too fab a new recoil , elevation unit. You can use the HL traverse gearbox, they are much less noisy.<div> The second one I have I just got from Phil at RCTankwars which is a HL?DBC conversion set up for a Futaba radio. still need too get another 2.4 Skysport for that one.</div>
