Friends, I finally got around to re-painting my Panther mainly to get it away from the humdrum look
that over time became boring and was so stereotyped you could lose identity in a battle scenario.
Except fot the application of Krylon primer in a spray can,I airbrushed the tank in Desert Yellow and Dark Green. My camo technique may not be very good, but at least it`s unique.

nice airbrush, you can add darkbrown as third color your tank will look again much better, its a good practice
the balkancross you can add with airbrush to, just cut the two sizes out of karton spray it over in the colors and done in less than 5min
Keep up the good work

I like it. By the time the G's came out though they where using the 3 color schemes but hay, it's your tank. Still a nice looking job. <div>

Thanks guys,I was only able to get up the gumption to attempt re-painting the tank because of all the good advice from the tank forum. Now I`m really glad
that I did it.

looks really good Charlie[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
Are you going to have a go at weathering it? I find that putting a very light dusting of flat earth on really tones the paint down and helps blend it together.

Yeah, fynsdad is right a little flat earth or Tamiya buff will blend things in very nicely . I like the buff first too tone down the color then use the flat earth for the mud and dirt.

Thanks again all of you.I can see that Flynsdad has a point there as his panther looks more like the real thing than a new toy.I guess sooner or later I`ll
have to dust it down with some earth color.I know I can do it if I have a couple of Budwiesers for help(lol).
