Default Customrcmodels.com

Any one have good contact info for Willy at www.customrcmodels.com? I'm looking for pinions. I got an email from him about a month ago saying he had some different pinions but was travelling. I've tried replying since then but haven't heard back. Might be that I don't have a good email address for replies.

Anyone have a reliable email for him?

Thanks.

@sevoblast: Ideally, I'd like to have a pair each of a range of pinions for testing/selection going from 8-14T. Short of that, I'd like at least to get a pair of 8T, 10T and 12T pinions. The set screws making the testing easier. [8D]

@jaws01: That's looks like an 11T pinion. I looked at the Duratrax website and it looks like they have several tooth options in the DTXC line-up. But, I can't seem to find any of their specs (pitch, hole diameter for motor shaft, etc). Do you know if they all fit the tank motors or what the specs are?

The Duratrax Vendetta car uses the RS-380 motor the same size as our tanks. I think they are a metric 48 but they do work on the tank gear boxes. I have two 11 and 12 tooth pinions that are new I don't need.
I hope this will help
Cheers

Good to know, thanks. I was going through the Duratrax website and I see that they used to make a 1/5 motorcycle and have a 9T pinion for that. Do you know if that would work, too?

BTW...if you don't need the 11T and 12T pinions, would you be willing to sell them? If so, I'm interested.

Ya I don't need the pinions would $20 be ok and where do I send them. I don't know if the 9 tooth pinion would work don't know the motor size for the bike.

Here is some pics of gear reduction standard and low profile gear boxes.

Cheers

John

I've got 8's and 10's on sight and in stock. Price on sight is for a pair, with set screws.

@Jaws01...PM sent. Did you make those low profile boxes? Or are those the HL Stug boxes?

@sevoblast...order submitted.

Thanks all...now I just need to find a way to add a 9T to the set. Jaws' info gives me options from 11T-21T, not that I'll go over 14T. [8D]

Order received and processed. Don't know where you will find a 9 toother, although I'm sure they're out there.
