Tim

Nice location map,the aeriel photo is right on, too.

I was just over there this aft., breaking some clay targets. (ran a 25/25 on my last round)

Please order some nice weather like you did for the Sept. 11 CAN-AM, I have a piece of ground picked out thats about 60 ft. square, it has a real concrete bunker as a centre piece (traphouse).

We have washrooms right there, paved parking lot, an area inside with a room 30 ft square and another section to spare where we can set up tables and chairs (we have thes at the club).

PS, I'll be there, I have to be to unlock the place

I should add that membership in our club is currently free and our members are from Southern Ontario and Western NY.

Those attending a Battelday are encouraged to bring:

-Whatever tanks you have in any scale. We currently have an Airsoft gunnery range and have IR battles (Tamiya/DBC and Vstank preferably, but we do run HL IR)
-More 1:16 scale buildings, trees, bridges, etc
-1:18 WW2 figures, tanks, trucks, at-guns dioramas that you can bring.
-We are kid friendly

How long does it take to get a passport? Hell, I could be there in a little over 2 hours drive from NJ.

I think the drive would be closer to 6 hours.

It took me 5 1/2 to get to Glen Falls NY.

That may be closer too accurate, but still not unreasonable. especially since it is on a Saturday. just got to get a pass port if you guys are going to do this on a regular basis. Our club really isn't that far away in northern NJ

Its great to hear that Duke. Oct 23rd is looking to be bigger than the last. More tanks, more zipperheads, more fun!

Well I have some work to do to some of my tanks...OK all of my tanks....

I have to beef up the air soft in my PZ 4.
Im fed up with the Sherman ,it runs for 3 min and then stops??
Stuart runs fine with a 12V 3.0ah battery but not with a 12v 7.0ah ??
I need to buy some new plastic tracks for my Tiger. I think the more tanks I can bring the better chance I will have that some thing
will work. Arggg..
Have you had some time to check out the new site for battle ??

Frank,

With all the trouble you are having with your HLs, perhaps you should have bought a Tamiya [sm=tongue_smile.gif]

Glen and I are going to meet asap to view the site. He is confident that it will work of us. Grass will be cut short again and we have indoor if needed. I'd still like to eventually get a site with hills, bridge etc. All in good time.

Toronto Hobby show is still interested in us coming, but I am still waiting for a call.

... I have some troubles too...
The RX-13 in my Panzer burned in the last week.
I ordered DBC from RCTANKWAR, but Phil sent me a mail says it is out of stock...
I odered a new Rx-18 from mATO, but I forgot to oder the connector  for it....
The worst is my  soldering iron is broken today...

The good thing is my Kv-1(with HL IR) seems work now. Maybe is good for battle  day on 23rd.

PS. Is there anyone knows where I can buy some 1:18(or 1/16) WW2 figures?

did Phil give you an idea when he would have more DBUs in stock? My Father is going to need one too.

I'd still like to eventually get a site with hills, bridge etc.
Well, there are rolling hills around a great big concrete bunker.

Actually, the bunker is a concrete traphouse (low structure where the machine that throws targets on a trap range, for those unfamiliar with the clay target shooting games.)

We have a paved parking lot where cars can be parcked (oviously ) with room for the smaller battle tanks to operate on pavement.

A clubhouse with heat, power, lights, washrooms, etc. One 30 ft x 35 ft space for indoor operations and another 35 ft x 20 ft. area indoors where we can set up the tables and chairs (which belong to the club) for the instruction sessions.

There is one requirement I will specify, some sort of eyewear, glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses will be manditory for the airsoft (my favourite part of the meet). Our club is a gun club and eyewear is manditory for shooting shotguns there, IMHO it is a good practice with airsoft and, if my fellow members found out there was no eyewear for it airsoft, I would never be allowed to forget it

Please start thinking happy thoughts about the weather for Oct. 23rd,so we can use the space we have available to best advantage.
