I like Testors and Tamiya spray paints. You may pay a little more, but their colors are very consistent.

One weak point of the stock HL M26 is the ability of neutral turning on grass , she never ever pivots on tall grass surface at all.
Anyhow I believe that 3:1 gearboxes will be the solution. If anyone  who has the gearboxes ever try ....please kindly tell me.
Thanks</p>

The HL is a Korean War era M-26 so generally, track skirts should be removed, aux persicopes for driver/bow gunner should be Dremelled off and plated over, coax machine gun hole in mantlet is missing and must be drilled out and fender braces should be added (simple scratch build). The MG ammo boxes on the track guards (fenders) should be secured by bars or cables, (or skirts folded up) and oil can hanging loose and upside down on the right rear fender should by stood up and secured.

After looking at pics how did you remove the skirts? I started using my dremel but stopped thinking that's gonna look awful and hard to cleanup.

You don't have to remove the sideskirts if you don't have to. Plenty of Pershings kept their skirts on, so to speak. be wary of slightly misleading advice.

Here's an M46 with skirts on.

Plenty of other pics online. :)

I think those are Korean Version Pershings aren't they???

The side skirts are easily removed with a sharp large Exacto blade or Box cutter blade. You score the inside with a few passes and then just snap them off. They come off in one piece and setting up a fastening system to be able to reinstall them wouldn't be that hard to do.

Yep worked great Thanks! Now I need some light sanding on spots where ammo/fuel cans were and were skirts were mounted so I can get to painting.

I just recently removed the ones off of mine so it was still fresh on my mind. Glad you had no problem with this mod.
