adding Zimmerit to it using Milliput works good took a bit to get this far i have a fractured hand and arthritis in my hands so a few breaks were necessary
i hope he likes it when i'm done going to do an extra special job on the details and weathering
man this stuff is heat resisting 130 degrees C that's 266 degree Fahrenheit.... hope it don't get that hot.....lol

A #16 exacto blade works well too but the popsicle stick costs a whole lot lesshttp://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif. Nice work airbrushler.

this is my late (June '44) Tiger with zimm. it came out pretty decent, i think. The late wheels i bought from ETO, i don't know if they have them in stock anymore, i bought them in like '08. maybe Wecohe might have them, but not sure.

RE: Zimmerit

thanks, i agree, i like the late style road wheels myself too. I still have a set that I will use on my next late Tiger I project. I am thinking of a late Tiger with 3rd SS markings in Poland in '44/45.
I am deploying again soon, so no new tank projects for a while. And when i get back, i might PCS again, so I am not sure when the next tank will get started.
Also on the zimm, i roll out the milli put like a pie crust to get it thin, then i apply it to the side of the tank and use a flathead screwdriver to indent the milliput. i do usually lay out like a 3 inch long section and do a little bit at a time. I think it looks more realistic than appling the milliput straight to the tank and then scribing it.
