Tiger I Camo Question???
 

<font color="#333333" face="Lucida Grande, Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif" size="2"><span style="line-height: 18.1875px;">I wanted to see if anyone could verify if this camo pattern shown on a link from RCTank.de, for a Tiger I of the Totenkopf was historically accurate.</span>

<span style="line-height: 18.1875px;">Looks to be depicted as grey with yollow and brown over spray.</span>

Looks like the colours in the link in my first post came from a <span style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Waldemar Trojcabook.</span>

<p class="MsoNormal">While the picture in the link I posted is an intersting drawing, if a person is trying for an accurate depiction, drawings can be suspect, since a drawing is one persons's interpretation.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">That pattern/colour is attributed to April 1943.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">However, in Feb. 1943, they started painting the Tigers yellow at the factory, in place of the grey.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">So either it was a Tiger made prior to Feb. (and still around), or, the drawing is not accurate.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Of course, the old B&amp;W photos from back then are difficult to determine actual colours from.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Sometimes if you think to much about this stuff, it will drive you crazy.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...bout_smile.gif<o:p></o:p></p>
