Hey Chris, are those panzer IV return wheel mounts & wheels? :D

Are the road wheels made just for the Comet?

the return rolers are from matotys for PIII i think.

the roadweels are made for my Cromwell kit but cromwell and Comet using the same weels. only the center hub need to be redesinded.

Today i was able to do some lidel work on the final Prototyp. I have implemented a Panther Track atjustment from Henntec.
this works well and easy with this hull. sure it do not look scale, but for that i but in a schablone so it is onla a exta option, that person who want to make a own scale track atjuste will be still able to use the lidel fix hole in the hul.

Just wondering how much it cost for a complete kit :D
And i'm also wondering why there's no British tanks form Tamiya, and other brand .. so strange!

just take a look at my cromwel side, put all together waht you want and count ;-), because these kits are made for the use of standart parts you maybe have the most parts you need at home, i dont knew ;-). maybe you only need the roadwells , the basik kit and the cannon?! than it will not cost much. if you need all parts it cost a lidel less
the comet will cost a lidel more because of the resin parts but not much.

i have put a manual on my side of the cromwell, there you can get a nice impresion of the kit. Its an easy kit, perfect for somebody who want to start scratchbuilding tanks.

I think Tamiya and co are always looking for a well sell able tank, and thats only a smal group of tanks wich are able for the market.
thay count not in numbers from 50-100 thay count in numbers like 1000-10000. thats the problem why always coming the same tank again and again.

Chris are you using regular CA glue for everything?

what means CA ? I m normaly gluing everthing in polysterol with UHU plast.

CA = Cyanoacrylate, or just plain old 'super glue' :)

I use it on everything plastic and tank-related.

Excellent work! And to think Heng Long has been sitting on a Tamiya 1:35 Comet kit for all this time.

Sorry, I meant Cromwell. When I last visited HL with IMPACT's owner, we were in their R&D room - more a cluttered closet than anything else - where they had a number of kits laying around that their designer was using for new product development. In the collection of boxes littering the floor next to a Tamiya 1:16 King Tiger was a 1:35 Cromwell. Guess it got lost in the mess.
