Has the museum released any sort of statement yet on an official timeframe? I have someone I want to bring and would like to know a timeframe

Seeing as I blocked someone in the group shot, here's a better one:

Alright. Just didn't want to plan something and then find out I should have done it earlier, kinda busy right now so it might be hard to fit something in until later

Wow, well... if you can't be there STARING AT PICTURES is second best!
Whoa, what a nice collection too! Especially #43... either it's an up-armored Kubel or a major conversion to look like a Horsch vehicle. :) Then all the nice T34's, Panthers and all those super sweet Shermans! ;) I almost cried I wanted to be there SO BAD!! Really nice work EVERYONE!!! Those 38(t) have me in the shopping mood... don't care if my wife diss-owns me, I gotta have one now after seeing these! (maybe 2) ;) BTW... who owns that Kubelwagen? Does he have any build threads on it? So very nicely done as I wouldn't mind picking their brain on what they used! :) Oh... and I almost forgot, GREAT PICTURES Chung-Leong! I do appreciate them. Jeff |
Thanks for the kind words Jeff.
According to the owner, it was a Tamiya Kubel on a Losi crawler chassis and it has really good articulation. He sold it, I don't know who has it right now but it worked a treat. He builds great looking models. He also built 38t number 1003. You might like to know that it is still available for sale - Mike made me a very good offer that I found very hard to resist. |

Here are Mike's threads on the "Uber-wagen." http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-t...ed-kwagen.html http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-t...en-1-16-a.html Oh wow, thanks for the links! :) Well, I have talked myself out of this one... for now. There's more to it than at first glance and the vehicle alone is around 150 bucks! I bet there's about 50 hours into this on the styrene work alone. That's dedication and well done Mike! ;) Jeff |
Yeah the Uber-wagon was my buddy Mike's. He's a good guy and VERY creative. Someone definatly got a very cool unique item!
