Please HELP! Board Conversion / Installation question
 

Dear All,

Long time reader fist time poster.

I have just purchased and received off Ebay a HL non S&S Tiger 1.

The included battery is rated at 1700mAh and the included charger is rated at 500mAh. I therefore charged the battery for 3.4 hours (3hours 24 minutes)

After 5 minutes of use the tank pauses with flashing lights.

Having trawled through this forum I am led to understand that the most likely causes are:

* battery not being charged/depleted
* transmitter batteries are no good
* crystals are wrong or no good
* faulty transmitter
* faulty tank board

If I were to go the full S&S upgrade how do I map across the wiring from the old (non S&S) board to the new (S&S) board?

I know this has been discussed many times before, but I have not been able to find a pictorial 'how to' guide for this so apologies up front if anyone gets annoyed.

I appreciate that this is an enormous task, but can someone PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE provide a step by step pictorial 'how to' guide on how to convert a non S&S HL tank to a S&S HL tank?

Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated as based on this knowledge I am hoping to upgrade a WS T-34 to HL/airsoft standard

Many thanks for this link - it is a great start for someone like myself who is doing this for the first time.

However, what about all the other connections required , turret, gun, barrel elevator etc.

Does anyone have a PICTORIAL schematic of where everything should be soldered onto the board

You don't have to rewire the turret when upgrading. Search the forum you'll see that myself and others have posted diagrams numerous times if you have trouble anyways.

Check that your batteries are in properly. You need to push the batteries away from the spring so that they have a good contact with the connection at the +ve end.
