Test your functions, find which isnt working then report back :)

(making sure the wire doesnt touch on anything while its loose)

Its the red wire in your pictures thats the culprit. That go to the red firing led?

Don't you just love Heng long and their color coding. Every tank is wired with different color wires.

I warmed up a DBC IC chip because the orange/brown/red connections between the ESC and the receiver were opposite on one of my tanks. The previous 6 were all the same so I thought they had that part of the wiring nailed down, but I found out this was the wrong assumption to make.:D

Here's my infamous turret wiring diagram. These are the two ways I've seen the turrets wired up. There is no standardization of colors. The ground wires are the control wires, everything gets power, the grounds are turned on and off by the electronics.

yes, it's soldered to a black wire and both go onto 1 led of the red led

BB not firing

Just so you know this gun must be wired right or the gun can be dammaged,if when you test it and it starts clicking "STOP".
It is not wired to run the motor in the right direction if it does this, and then the wires must be reversed.I have done this before
and got lucky and didn't hurt the gun. BIGMIG ;););)
