RE: What if?

Then you still have 4v feed from the elevation and 7v for the airsoft feature,
Torpedo launch??

RE: What if?

Yep, using them as a basic motor+gearbox powered by the HL board.
The only problem I see with that from my point of view is that it doesnt give the rudders a self centreing action when you let go of the stick does it?

Don't think so. You'll have to turn it the other way to bring it back to amidships.

I wonder,,, do Heng Long crystals work in a normal receiver?

RE: What if?

They are FM crystals. There are several manufacturers who makes them like Hobbico's Red Hawk brand that work in HL tanks. They're an older design not in much use throughout the rc hobby world anymore.

Somewhere recently I have seen a diagram of the wiring for the multiplug that goes to the turret. Anybody know where that is please?

RE: What if?

Been doing a bit of playing and aquired an FM receiver and a servo, thinking that I could use the servo in the boat to operate the rudders, from the L/R control on the TX.

Connected the servo/battery/crystal etc. but it will not work from a signal from the Heng Long TX.
