This is the pattern they give for the early jagdpanther, i have seen this on several jp's and think it looks ok, but just wandering if the later ones had a different pattern.

Thanks for the link uhu

AS Fireflykeith correctly says Jagdpanther had the "block pattern" this was the only pattern used on Jagdpanther and was applied to all early models possibly some mid models and wasn't used on the late models

I got this pattern from a panther book; not sure if it was used on Jegds?

But I like the pic :)

Hi FireflyKeith
Another interesting article
http://www.panzerworld.net/zimmerit
look at patterns 1 and 5, some early Jagdpanthers were zimmerited with the pattern 1 although the majority had the small squares pattern.
Cheers

mmmm, i like number 5, the small squares, would be very time consuming but worth it in the end.

RE: ZIMMERIT PATTERNS

Scat Patton the pattern on your Panther is correct for a Panther built by the MAN factory but would be wrong for a Jagdpanther

Firefly go with 5 this is correct and very easy to do using Milliput all you have to do is with a very blunt Stanley knife blade run your lines horizontally and vertically a very good book to look at is "Combat history of schwerepanzer abteilung 654" this covers the divisions Fredinand and Jagdpanthers

Great chart Keith!

I agree with Rivitcounter, that would be the ideal patern.
