elevator on gun ?
 

Fellow Tankers, I am trying to figure out what wires do what on my tiger. I was on here a while back and was instructed to try the new airsoft gun first by directly wiring it to the battery I did that and it worked.My problem being when I wired it in the tank nothing. I have eliminated the red firing light and wired the gun to the red and black wires coming up through the turret ring (they are smaller diameter than the gun wires) is this wrong?I can't get the elevator or gun to work.[:o]Please help???????

I can take a look for you later today when i get home,i just striped a tiger out for a up comming build and might be able to post some pics to help you out,[8D]

Switch under loaders hatch on? (happend to me...and others also:D)
...otherwise a drawing of the electrical system.

Thanks for the replies. I think the wire coloring is confusing me the new gun has blue and yellow and the old wiring is black and red.Not sure how to hook it up with out gun light?:eek:What goes to the elevator! Already tried the switch under hatch nothing.......[&o]

Hmm .. do you have the two wires going to the positive and one going to the neg on the elevation unit?

Hi all ! I am still trying to figure out this guns wiring w/o led.There is a red and black wired up through tank to elevator and black to gun switch under hatch. The gun itself has a baby blue (neg) and a yellow (pos) . Where do these get soldered? The tank is oriented in the direction of Me-109 's pics? As it is now neither the elevator or gun are functioning?[:o]

Ok, I surrender I cannot make this gun and elevator work.[&o] This tanks gun never worked from day one . Everything going to the elevator is still hooked up and did work the new gun works as long as it is not in the tank.There are only two wires to hook up both from the gun but I just don't know where else to try to solder them.Beyond frustration .......[:o]

Hey jay, could you post pics of how yours is set up?
If so i might be able to help you out, as said before there should be two positive(red in my case) on one terminial and one neg (black) on the elevation unit itself the neg eing the side closest to the open side of the unit,

Sorry M-E 109 my camera is not working. In your pic is the white wire that is hooked up under loaders hatch is that the hot (pos) wire? My wire from elevator is hooked up in middle of here(Blk) .There is a red and yellow that come up thru turret ring and are fastened to the elevator in turret. My gun has a blue (neg) and yellow (pos).If the yellow goes next to black under hatch where does blue go? There are NO Leds so thats not in question.Thanks, I am electrically challenged:eek:Jay

The tank In the pics is not my tank (i didnt post any pics lol) :D But anywho.. I beleive that your blue is originaly went to a led, and seeing as you said you dont have any led perhaps just ground it and it should work, m just as electrically challenged as you if not worse lol...so im not sure how to help you anymore mate, i wish i did hopefully some one comes in and can answer your question better if my suggestion dosent work, WHen i stripped out my tiger i left as much connected as i could so i wouldent have to try to figue out as much

Found some more pictures, different tiger than the last pictures so the colours may differ again

Thanks everyone for the help! I am going to put this tiger back together and run it as is.No elevator or Airsoft.Don't really care about airsoft. I do however have advice for those selling parts (DIRECTIONS).[X(]Jay
