Default Best truggy for bashing?

I might buy a truggy, what is the best one on the market for less than 400$? I'd like one that is pretty durable(It isn't my first rc). Is the Losi 1/14 mini 8ight-t good?

In general, I'd say minis aren't that durable for heavy outdoor use. 10th scale minimum, 8th scale mo better. The truly tough ones are the 8th scale truggies. But a lot of them are quite expensive. If you can handle just over $400, look at the Arrma Talion or Kraton. Those suckers are BIG and TOUGH. If you really want something a little smaller, but still pretty tough, you might want to look at the Ofna/HoBao Hyper 10TT. I got one a year or so ago as a "kit" for under $200. It was really a "roller", completely assembled, minus electronics. You install a servo, ESC and motor, and paint the body. I initially installed a small Hobbywing system in it, but eventually put a Castle 4-pole 540 5700kv motor and a 120A ESC. That really lit it up. We did have problems breaking suspension arms at first, but after installing front and rear T-Bone Racing bumpers, we rarely break anything.
