New here so hi everyone, looks a great forum

Hoping for some advice, I dragged my Hellfire out the cellar and want to get it running again. Last time I used was years ago and it it started fine and the diff and gears all seemed fine but it didn't really move far when you put it on the ground. Like the clutch is slipping I guess! I remember taking it apart and the gears looked fine but at the time I didn't have the money to try and fix it. What is the likely cause? Will a clutch kit fix it? is there a way to test it or should I just order a new one? Are they pretty standard parts or do I need a hellfire clutch kit. Sorry for the simple questions, it's been years since I did anything RC so well and truly out of touch, any advice appreciated!

hi niksheffield well the clutch could be slipping do to fuel oil on clutch shoes they not grabbing the the clutch bell properly or your cluch shoes are worn out and not expanding out ward to grab the clutch bell and or hardware that is holding the flywheel , clutch bell . clutch
shoes bearings , tapered collars is broken or missing or loose hope i helped ok mugey

The AE truggy will share some parts with your AE buggy... if this is not a concern, then I would go for the DEX408T. Not sure that one is any better than the other... but I really like the new Durango myself.
