DOUBLE TROUBLE! haha the RR gets shelf time this week, i need to break in a certian modded novarossi .28 and tear up the track with it a little...

Where do you guys get your parts for the LSrr or LSP's? Do they hold up pretty good and not break too often?
Im thinking about getting a LSP real soon, since my LST is about maxed out
I just dont want a truck that I cant get parts for when they break, because I know my LHS doesnt stock LS parts.

alot of the lightning buggy parts are interchangable. Not really alot of breakage other than the suspension holders and the driveshafts from modded motors. If i were you, Id get the LSRR.. not as blingtastic, but the diff between the rr and pro isnt a really huge diff if youre racing. You will still have to replace steering servo/wheels and tires because the stock ones will not last at all. Parts for these trucks are currently hard to come by because HB didnt think the truck was going to be this big of a hit, but soon everything will be ok.

Heres another pic of my 'forgotten' truggy.
I too, will replace with a .21 motor(RB S5 or S7II). They're the ones that have the HP, and I bet as much torque as the .27/.28's, etc.

so no one knows if you can put 23mm hubs on where the 1/8 buggy 17mm hubs used to go?
i noticed that snow had the 23mm rims on his gs storm truggy. i would like to know how he got them on and if there was any modifying involved.
any info you guys can give me would be great

Yes you can put the 23mm hex on.. I have them on my KANAI3 truggy project. No modification involved. Are you converting your buggy? If you have longer arms it will work no trouble at all......

petrolpixie I'm using the proline savage 23mm adapters on the rear because I have hot bodies cvd's out of the stadium truggy so I'm assuming that they will work on your buggy axles. Hope this helps you out.[sm=thumbup.gif]

Here is a pic of my K2 Truggy with my own custom made conversion kit. It has all the King Headz options and K Factory Hinge Pins. This thing is practically bulletproof and a proven winner.

2 things....
1st- How did you mount your body?
2nd- Did you have to modify the XTM 24/7 PRO any to get it too fit.. I didnt think it would fit unless they made a non p/s....do they...

come on man spill it.....

NICE TRUCKS GUYS!!! ofna blazer sst... i might be getting one soon.. just need to kick my bud that owns the LHS to getting ofna parts.... Rebuilt my diffs tonight and had a brain fart.. put one in backwards so it wouldnt roll freely... [:@] man after redoing my diffs at least 4 times trying to find the best combo, i put the front diff in backwards so when it rolled, the front wheels wanted to go backwards instead.. haha and then after about 15 mins trying to find out which way the center diff should turn so i could figure out if the front or rear was in backwards... hahaha man it was a fun time... O well.. im racing out of town tomorra so ill get you guys some pics of the truggies out there for you guys to drool on...

For th 24 7 pro, hobby people sells a non pullstart bvackplate for like 6 bucks. It s a direct mount up except you need to cut off the little nub that is at the end of the crank for the one way. Its super easy if you have dremel. The body is mounted with gs SUt body posts

i have an rc10gt truggy. most people convert buggies into trucks, but i went the other way, converting my truck into the buggy-ish frankenstein it is now. ill post pics soon. till then try your luck at [link] you may just win enough to finance a truggy of your own (or make your existing truggy better), must be 21 to play.

i am actually wanting to put the 23mm hubs on my rockwilder. i need it to handle better then it does with the dominator rims and tyres that i am currently running.
islandsavage- would it be possible for you to get a few pics of the hub area of ur k3 truggy with out the rims on so i can have a look?
also are you running the 23mm buggy hubs or the savage hubs?

Its all in driver ability jr. You probably won't win right off the bat. If your all equal drivers the 'fast' motor will be ahead at the finish. If the guys with the fast motors are crashing all over the place, you just need to do consistent laps(less crashing), which may get you ahead.
As I was first told when I started racing, go slow to go fast. Do the track at a speed where you don't crash and pick it up as you improve. Going fast and crashing four times a lap IS NOT fast!
Learn the doubles/triples and rhythm sections in practice!!
And just have fun!! The deep pockets may have experience.
I hope I wasn't speaking below your ability level...
