MGT is a steel transmission. Its the matter that a diff is much simpler than a transmission, which i much prefer, its right there in front of you, no removing 10 things to get inside. [:'(]

Looks like its a done deal, paying on monday, RTR with standard shell, black standard shell, black spokes wheels with crimefighters on them, standard tyres, futaba 3PM FAASST radio system, standard roto, lipo for radio CANT WAIT

Thats it there

if you buy the rtr the diffs come with grease 45 front 30 rear the stock one is a 13
if you get the race roller the diffs come with 7k front 10k center 5k rear

its the same as the rtr i have 40 in the front and 30 in the rear and a 56 shock piston all the way around and the stock clutch bell is a 13t but if you are running on a big track i would sugest getting the 14t

I had a 14T clutcth bell on my Jammin X-1 CRT. It was a pretty good gearing for our track. So i would've guessed that 14 would be good too with the LOSI. I wasn't sure since the CRT uses a larger spur gear and different gearing.

HI EVERYONE,I just purchased a used race roller and have a few questions, this is my first truggy(i have a platinum REVO which i race and love).O.K,the 8ight-t has alot of aluminum parts,KingHeadz-center braces, top plate, rear toe plate, radio tray brace,Losi aluminum hubs and spindles,Is my 8ight too heavy? It has a picco/trinity Drake modded motor,is this a good motor? I also have a OS FG .21 I could use, which is better? Thanks for the help, and glad to be a 8ight-t owner

Hey Guys. I had bought an 8ight T RTR because it was my first truggy and didnt know what to really expect. There were no tracks real close by (closest one about an hour from me) and I wanted to race it, but really never found the time. I am now using it as a basher/racer for whatever races we do for kicks at my LHS -combo dirt/pavement races and drag racing.. But i just had my true "bash" session with it, and i cannot believe how durable this truck is. It was the only one out of 5 trucks, of them lsts, lst2s, savages and 2 infernos, to last all day. I didnt break one single part. Burnt out the stock throttle servo but that was it. Just felt like i should post this as a testiment to its toughness and durability. I really wish i could race it, but my schedule has been a lil hectic to get up to barnstormers and throw down on the track.

Just my two cents for anyone who had questioned this truggy's durability.

Since i was foolins and didnt get the RR, besides the shock caps, diff fluid, and shock towers, what other hop ups should be doen ebfore taking it to the track? i upgraded the steering servo, and i am goign to throw this old airtronics servo i used for steerinf in my savage for the throttle. tray stiffener maybe? and what pipe works best witht he mach 427. I think its a great engine and i feel liek it could be competitve for racing? what have you guys seen or know from experience?
