Not in my experience. I've never run a stiffener on my buggy and I haven't blown a servo yet. I have one on my truggy and I still blew a servo, which came as no surprise, since I didn't have it set up correctly.

the mach 427 is a great engine. Hold a tune and is very easy to tune. I wouldn't bother changing it out until it needs it.

Yea i think im gunna hold on to the mach 427. even after this one blows. i like the roto start as i havent really had the cash to get a starter box, batteries, rr engine mounts. all money that i dont have to spend . i know the roto robs a lil power, but maybe one day ill convert one to a bumpo start.

do they sell the venturis for the mach carb, or only the sportwerks one?

What's the benefits of getting a "better" carb? I never have heard of anyone doing that.

It's a common thing to swap carbs on Go engines with OS carbs. Some carbs have smoother operation, seal better or whatever. So that's probably the reason for swapping the carbs between the Mach and the Sportwerks

i didnt cut the windows, it came that way, i bought it 2nd hand, so i had to play in that area.

FINALLY i know what the wheels are, can someone give us a link to them? I noticed they make the wheelbase dam narrow, dont like it they must have negative offset?, i may get new rims and put the tyres on them. Il be using the stock tyres for racing on sunday.

how many teeth are ont he center spur gear on the RR and the clutch bell on the RR?

I am planning on upgrading to robinson racing parts and was thinking of 14T/48T... good or bad combo?
