Nice 8t.

I was wondering what setup's you guys use when racing your 8t. I'm going to purchase some silicone fluid and some shock oils and I want some ideas of what you guys are running and what works well. I'm thinking of using 7,10,5k for the truck and putting a higher weight oil in the shocks. What yall think?

i run 7,20,5 front to rear and 40wt in the front shocks and 30wt in the rear with 56 shock pistons all the way around but if you see my track and compair it to yours you will have to make adjustments

i use my RR bell's...but u could get away with a Ofna 3 hole vented....and for shoes...it Reallly depends on the motor and track conditions...i would honestly call up mitch and inquire to what he thinks.

I'm about to put silicone oil into my diffs. What is the best way of doing this? Do I just clean out all the grease and jam it full of silicone?

Also, is there ever a need to refill or add more shock oil? I assume over time that it leaks and such.

Do the rado tray stiffners such as the King Headz radio tray stiffner help save the throttle servos? Is there any benefit to using them?

Are there any must have updates/performance parts to the 8ight-T RTR that should be added before racing?

How long do the clutch shoes tend to hold up in the 8ight-T? Just wondering a general consensus.

yeah the stock ones. I'm just curious on a ball park idea. I've got maybe a gallon on them now. My muggy's just gave out and it's been a gallon as well, but i know the muggy is hard on them.

the clutch is Worn out when the shoes are down to 23.3mm......as far as life goes....Every driver will be different....ive seen some shoes last Gallons in one set of hands.....yett in another....they are DONE in a matter of tanks....so in the end experimenting is THE only way to 100% figure it out for yourself....and i Highly suggest you do....as the clutch is Top 3 MOST important parts of the whole vehicle.
