RE: does any one know if spin starts work on any motor??
It all depends, if the engine comes with a pull start from the factory, I would stick with the pull start. I had the problem with my XTM 24.7, I bought an HPI roto start and went through 2 OWB's and shafts. I went back to the pull start and, yeah it was a pain at first, but when you get the engine running properly your engine should be able to start up in 1-5 pulls. It's really nice once you get it tuned properly. Also, a starter box is a good idea too for an engine because it turns the flywheel directly instead of using an OWB. I have nothing against starter boxes except for it's something else to charge and worry about. That's just me though, a lot of racing people tend to use starter boxes. Hope this helps, good luck!
