Default i gots a question

i got a inferno st us nd i wanted 2 noe if i can change the backplate on the stock gxr .28 to a different .28 engine backplate so it would be easier to fit pullstarts on it (the stock engine pullstart has 2 screws) and i was wondering if that would work[sm=bananahead.gif][sm=bananahead.gif]

Not really. Unless you get one that fits perfectly like the old one.

Most manufacturers would design their engines to be unique, they make have same size engines but will have different specs. This is so people would by the same brands for parts.

It would not hurt to try it on, if you have them on hand.

To be honest, I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish here.

Are you trying to convert a non ps to a ps, or just trying to replace a ps from different engine? Which other engine are you taking the other backplate from?

Nah, I just hate phillips heads screws. Never had any luck. They will always strip, no matter if you have the right size screwdriver or not. I've had everything from those screws on the savage, to those tiny ones on Mini Inferno, to the ones on the Rustler. Every single time, I've stripped at least a few screws. [:'(]
