W.F.O.racing

My friend has an ofna jammin x1-crt rtr. It has a force .28 on it which all came from ebay. My question is the head has four shims in it now, and it idles like crap for about ten seconds, and then dies. It pulls really strong, and doesnt get above 196 to 197 degrees. I didnt know if maybe the shims may be lowering compression to the point it wont idle. I'm pretty sure it has been tuned for 30%, but he is using 20, so how many should it have, or can i possibly take out. Oh and no I'm not sure how thick they are. Any help would be appreciated.

you could contact the seller from ebay with these same questions as well.

You should contact the seller and ask him.
I bought my RTR CRT new, it didnt have any shims.

mine didnt either.. same engine but no shims...id take them out, factory set the neddles and start from fresh with a break in of new fuel..
