Hey guys finally made the decision to go with the matrix arena. should be here any day. Only thing is that its pretty cold up here and I'll have to wait to break it in. What fuel do you guys recommend for the arena? 20% or 30%? any brands in particular? thanks.

I suggest byron's race 20%, 12% lubrication, best fuel I've used.

youll love it!! i live in MI and its got to be about the same weather between here and there-of course i have a nice 50x96 heated shop to work in-i broke it in there and have been running traxxas 33% top fuel and let me tell u shes like a raped ape

Because traxxas fuel sux more than a bucket full of ticks. It's notorious for making the bearing slip, and that high of a % of nitro isn't always good for engine.

While some may think it makes a difference in power, I didn't find it noticable. I decided to stick with my 20% instead.

I run my t-maxx and mgt on o'donnel 20% and they run fine. I'm building a 3.3 and according to traxxas the 33% is designed to run with their engines. I was thinking of running 30% on the new matrix arena but wanted to run it by everyone first. I see as usual there is much debate! LOL! I lucked out and basically was able to order it at cost thru a friend of a friend's hobby dealer.
