Default Hellfire ss steering

I just got my ss built and was out running it today and my steering seemed a little off. There seemed to be a lot of slop. The servo saver was a little loose so i tightened it up but it came loose in a tank or so. There were two nuts that would fit on the servo saver post. I used the (ribbed?) one and not the one that looks like a nut. The one I used I can adjust by hand but I would need a wrench for the other one. I was thinking of putting the other one on to use it as a jam-nut. The instructions ony say to use the one that I have on now. Anyone have any ideas or other ways of fixing it?
