Default clutch shoes

i have a losi eight T rtr and i purchased it as a roller. i am putting a v spec in it and people are telling me to put 2 plastic shoes and 2 metal shoes in it instead of the 4 metal. anybody know what is the best way to go.

What kind of clutch setup are you going with? I've not heard much of a 4-shoe clutch, unless it's a Werks.

Ah, well, what shoes did it come with? Try those first, and if you don't like the feel, buy some carbon shoes (They'll wear out a lot faster than aluminum) and mix them together.
