Not a single ae driver is mentioned using a st1 at the dirt nitro challenge. All they say is Kyosho and Mugen. Hey and my low post count doesn't mean I am newb. All you do is gets ur post numbers way up there by defending ur cock sucking pos st1. If I posted on all the st1 threads i might have a high post number 2 but i dont feel u st1'ers' r even worth it most of the time.
edit i have been at rcu longer than you i just don't post on every thread i see.

The reason the TT is not up there in the podiums is probably because no top drivers are not racing them...and probably wont start... most of the top drivers have their rides and are happy with them, so why change?...I think as more drivers start racing the TT we may start to see them get some podium time...
Depending on the track a little shorter and narrower would not be a bad thing...

I think if more people raced the ST-1 and tell TTR what needs to be done to make it better it would be better. Its just the the TTR name is not really big. Team Losi is a big name. So they have more people buy their things and tell what could be better.

Thunder Tiger also have the RC plane market and RC boat scene firmly under their control.
They just don't advertise as much as Losi and other companies, probably because they don't really need to.

I know a place that has a Losi 8T for $509 for the race roller. That is a smokin hot deal right now.. I would get it now if I didn't think my wife would kill me for it..
I can go buy it and then sell it to you for the same price + shipping of course. .. and if you decide you didn't want it then I'd just have to keep it.. hehehehehe....

420 for the hot bodies is too much. I got a lighting stadium pro R for 320 plus 35 bux shipping last year. A friend of mine is selling his LSP Pro-R and should have sent you a PM.
It's got about 250 bux worth of king headz upgrades. not sure what he wants for it but you would have a strong used truggy to work with.
If you want to be a competitive racer then drop 600+ on a truggy. I'm looking at the mugen MBX5T prospec as my next truggy. its like 650 ATM. needless to say im holding off for a price drop. plus the hotbodies is working out fine for me.

LOL okay jsut kidding but i figure since the kiddies use titles like this and get pages worth of info then maybe an old guy should try it to
I am at whits end trying to decide what truggy to go with the starting list was as follows *all truggies are rtr versions*
Losi 8ight-t (weeded out due to high price)
GS XUT (parts issues)
Kyosho Inferno ST
Hot bodies lightning stadium sport
As stated earlier I am going nuts on what to get I have basically narrowed it down to the kyosho $499.99 CDN at shop 30 mins drive from mey he carries all the parts but he is probably the only shop with a 200km radius that does
OR the hot bodies $420.00 cdn which has awesome parts support at all the local shops but from what i have read needs some work to get it up to par with any of the other truggies
Racing is what I am aiming for this yr but that being said I am not a very competetive guy to me its about being out with buddies drinking a few beers and having fun I also love being the underdog who wins what he deserves based on pure skill so I dont need the fastest truck on the track but what i do need is a truck i can rely on
WHICH TRUCK DO YOU CHOOSE and less importantly why J/K

Have you taken a look at the Caster Racing K8T? It is very similar to a mugen and I have driven both and you almost cannot tell the difference except most people that have driven both say the K8T turns better. A ton or parts are interchangeable too.

00nothing...keep shopping around for the HB Lighning Stadium Sport if that's the one you choose...I just got a brand new RTR for $269 CAD plus $35 shipping from e-bay(HOPMEUP)...I just checked yesterday and they are now $300...but it looks like they keep having sales...I will probably get hit with Duty but I still think I got a good deal for a first car.

I have the LS2P with C6. But I still prefer my old LSP-R with XZ engine. It is faster and super stable. I can push it harder and it will not flip. Bcos of its heavy alu arms, its even more stable than a STRR with big bores. But the downside is that 28 size engine is a gas guzzler and not good for races.

I will always say this. If you have racing in mind, kits over rtrs. Its just the smart and inexpensive way to go. You buy a rtr and you will spend 100s in it right away changing literally the whole truck and its gear to try an be more competible, when you could have had a nice kit from the start.
Oh, and it cant be just any kit, somthing like Kyosho, Mugen, Xray,

I just got a Hotbodies LSP and Im very curious I can't find the shock tower anywhere. It looks like a Ofna Jammin X1-CRT shock tower and it has ofna shocks for sure. Im not sure what diameter because I need a shock rebuild kit. How do you do the Jammin x1 crt upper arm mod (with HB buggy upper arm holder)?
