Steering servo Noisy???
Guys, new to the truggy forum, and thought it is time to say hi. So hi!!
I broke down and bought a X1X CRT Pro kit that i am building myself. Everything is done and installed, and now I have to set it up. My question is this: I have a Hitec 5997 servo for the steering, but it very noisy once it starts working. It is very loud, to the point where I think it might be busted. Sounds like a very badly tuned radio!!
Is this normal?
Thanks
Gus

As long as the servo arm is moving back and forth smoothly, you got nothing to worry about. The noise you're hearing is most likely the typical digital servo noise. Most digital servos make that weird electronic-type noise.

Dont worry about the sound. I am using the same servo in my truggy as well and it does make sounds.
Its a Great Servo!!!
