Well demand comes to mind. I know a lot of people have been asking for this truggy. I got this quote off of amain.
"Strength, durability, maximum corner speeds and rough track handling were the key design elements Area 51 worked into the RC8T. Drivers will experience unparalleled and effortless “pop†as they launch from the jumps. Landings will be plush beyond belief due to the enhanced suspension that other truggies can only dream of".
No one can be sure but it sounds like they might have worked on known durability issues. Just my opinion.

There are no durability issues with the RC*. The top plate and a,b,c,d, plate issue is resilved. I beat my RC8 pretty hard and have not
broken one part with 3 gal. thru it. The drive train is the smoothest I have have ever experienced. Greta acceleration, cornering etc.

I dont think so.... being that there is no RTR one, and the kit is a little pricy for beginners that dont even know if they will like the hobby....

Its all I had to go off of, I don't plan on buying it on release but I assume known problems will be resolved. I personally do not have experience with the rc8. I can't tell you if it breaks easy. Do you? in all your infinite knowledge? It is like any new release it will all be speculation until it has some real world testing under its belt. I keep hearing this talk about the durability issue's of the RC8 can someone confirm this. Thopper said they were tough.

I can see theres no e-clips to worry about losing! Thats one good looking truck, i wont be in the market for a long time in buying another truggy but i sure will keep my eyes and ears open on it. And carbon fiber shock towers, you can buy them for nearly any truggy out now but this is the first I seen that comes with them as standard.

The third picture has chassis braces front and rear. They are blue tubes. Yeah.............. Carbon fiber shock towers? Not keen on that either.

Ive said it before, and I'll say it again.... THAT IS NOT THE Associated RC8T...
That was built by Bill at BCE and is a completely custom job. It uses Kyosho, Mugen, Associated RC8 buggy parts, ect, along with Bill's own custom chassis.[8D]
