My Hot bodies LSP just blew up a pair of aluminum clutch shoes. i was breaking in a new picco .28 and the car stopped and started sending metal chunks everywhere. I got the truggy out of a trade so i don't know the extent of upgrades, but what would have caused that to happen and how do i avoid doing it again?

extremely worn shoes. They get worn to the point that the springs are rubbung the CB. So when the springs get worn to the point that they fail, there is nothing keeping the shoes from flopping around inside, and "exploding" could happen I guess. lol
