You can wait for the MBX6 buggy to come out and then add 6mos to a year to that. Being that the X6 buggy is not out yet (and probably won't be for a while), I'd say you have quite a wait on your hands. The current MBX5T is a top-of-the-line truggy. I wouldn't wait.

I have heard from a couple of dealers and my friend owns a hobby shop that the Mugen MBX5T is discontinued and so are the parts. He wanted to order some and was not able through his distributors and when called they told him that. If they are not even going to continue making parts at least then I would stay away from it. This is just what I have heard and from different people (dealers).

they discontinued the non pro-spec MBX5T's...the MBX5T Prospec is still in full production and parts are readily available....I have heard this rumor before but it simply is not true.... Parts are easily available and likely will be for years to come....

Why is it that dealers cannot get them then? My LHS wanted to get more Prospecs cause that is all he carried. He did not carry the non-prospec and he could not even order anything.

Well that is a good thing for you guys. I could not see them stop making parts for such a popular truggy! That would not be right. Whoever at horizon and some other distributor is telling people wrong though because I am not the only one being told that.

I'm not sure if anyone would know that answer to that one. Well, someone at Mugen Seiki might know. Ask them. Personally, I don't know how anyone can wait for new models to come out. The scheduled release dates are rarely met. I'd rather race than wait.
