Then have added a few upgrades, CNC Wing Stay Posts, CNC'd radio tray post, 1 peice engine mount, light weight spur gear, CNC castor blocks, CNC arm holders. And probably a few more that im forgetting LOL.
Just was looking at your pics again, you might wanna cut a portion out of the left window, so you can refuel with the body on .

Nuh, you could use a few more. Like a CRT.5, LST2, then a few on roads, plus a few extra engines, then you'd have the right amount of RC's

This is gonna be a long~ish post, so grab some popcorn and a beer...
X1 .VS. X2
Main things they've changed
Chassis
Radio Tray
Weight Distribution
Diff's
Drivetrain
Fuel Tank
Engine Mounting Position ( More Central )
Plastics ( ALL the plastics are stronger )
Pretty much everything except the shock tower's. Even the wing is differient
Driveability. On that note, J24 should be able to answer that extremely well, but heres my stand point. Now before anyone shouts I havent owned an X1 CRT, ive built one, driven one, and worked on one. So my opinion does count...
The X1 was always on the heavy side a bit, it never liked to be ' rushed ' ( For the lack of a better term ) into corners. The X2 on its side, loves to go into a corner with all the power it has, it does not power push at all. Its so easy to take around a track, its extremely ' fine ' but does leave room for error, and also leaves room to correct the error . Thats what I love most about it. It dosent mind being driven by a mad person around the track, it really enjoys that. It is an absoloute monster if set-up right.
The X1 took more work and more driving skill to tame it around a track. The X2 dosent, it's like it takes care of everything for you. Yeah, the BCE Chassis sorted out most of the X1's handling characteristics, but by the time you were done doing all the mods needed for the BCE chassis and the Chassis itself, a lot of $$$ has been spent. Now Hong Nor ( Jammin ) has stated very clearly that There will be no conversion kit to convert an X1 into an X2 , this came as a suprise to me too. But looking at what all they've changed, it'd be like selling an X2 without the shock towers and the wing posts....
They're both great trucks, if you own an X1. BCE it, if you want an Xx Pro, get an X2. I can say with some assurity, that there will be no X2 RTR ( Thank the Lord ).
Jammin have really made a great truck here. It is nothing like I have ever driven.
It is so easy to work on, my buggy gives me nightmares sometimes when it comes to maintaince. This is like a dream, everythings so accessible,
Ie ; Wanna remove the fuel tank, 2 body clips and its done, wanna pull out the center diff, its a 2 peice mount, 4 screws and its done.
It is a great truck...

I agree with qaiz this truggy is not a X1 for sure. It handles so much better, of course I never had a BCE chasis I did try a dragon racing chasis(junk) it lasted 3 races. This X2 turns on a dime on power and off it's easier to control off the huge triples, we have a 30' one here, and flies like a cloud. I'm going back out to the track tomm will get some pics and post them.

The X2 was just reviewed by RC Driver, and they said the X2 only weighed 4lb[X(]
Has anyone put the X2 on a scale? I mean most buggies are 7-8lbs
It looks I might have to upgrade my CRT. Has anyone compared the BCE to the X2?

I just got off explaining why there wont be a conversion kit to convert an X1 into an X2 just because of the differiences.!
Take this, The damn screws are differient LOL.!
Yeah probably 4LBs just as a roller. Add all the equipemnt and you'll get it up to what, max 7 - 8 LBs.?

and to chime in on the x1 vs x2
i've never owned an x1 out right but i've driven some and gaiz is right they're more of a laid back type of drive to be fast which there's nothing wrong with that but say you enter a corner way to hot you can def see it with non bce x1's now take an x2 and you can recover much quicker as it responds better to imputs. My buddy went from running 50's on a track to running 45's with the x2 with pretty much the same overall driving style...and he'll be quicker shortly...the bce x1 handles great...it's actually pretty darn close with an x2 i think if you could score one cheap i'd get it cause its awesome..me personally i've got my sights set on an x2 build it from the ground up

nice shot!
I'm still waiting for my X2 to arrive here in Canada (the hurry up and wait country)
Really looking forward to my very first truggy. I'm going to have to re-read this whole thread and make notes of the preferred mods. Motor's done and ready to go in but I got no car! [:@] Kinda like I'm all dressed up and no place to go [&o]

Did a lotta work on her during the week. Complete rebuild of the shocks and diffs, new fluids all around.
Also cleant her up real good, damn thing sparkles now .
And added ceramic bearings all around.
And lastly clutch.
This is what my previous one looked like.! It used to be the Red Jammin Clutch, and has turned to silver ~ brown and broke.
I really need to get a Pre-Filter for the Air-Filter.!
J try using the CNC wing mounts, helps a lot.
Some other random shots Soo clean

Nah the mount is plastic, mis-worded it. The posts are CNC
They reduce the flex and keep it more stiff during crashes.
Never had a problem after I switched to the CNC posts.
Did the same for my buggy a few months back, and im still on the same wing mount

So true, my Buggy and the X2 share quite a few parts, so happy about that. If I ever break anything, I know I have spares .
Im hitting the track again tomorrow, ill definately try and get some vids.

Gaiz... How does the X2 chassis handle the big 28 ? my good buddy has a X2 on the way and we are mounting one of my modified JPX .28's... its his first Truggy so we have a few concerns of overpowering the chassis...... I am tuning the JPX's timing right now and I am curious how wild i should make this motor.....
