I have an LSP with a picco .28 in it, ran great until today. I would give it full throttle and it would bog then let loose and bog in a series of 4 or so times. It would never really release at WOT like it has in previous runs.
side note: it got very hot, 250+, after being very rich. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bt

I'd take everything apart and give it a good cleaning and oiling, then reset the linkages. If you can see good healthy smoke and the preformance is where you want it, temp means nothing (as long as it's not as hot as the sun! lol). But if your getting good smoke then your getting sufficent lube to youe engine and it shouldn't be running too too hot. It sounds like it was lean. I find it easier to start rich and adjust to lean. Not lean to rich. I always get better, more dependable results doing it this way.

well im officially done with this thing. going to rant. got this thing out of a trade and hasn't consistently worked yet. recently replaced the engine with a new aforementioned picco .28. today it gets 10 feet away and runs off WOT (freshly charged Rx battery) anyway, thing makes it all the way up the street and dies. I guess it had hit a house because it was upside own near a wall when i finally found it. broken wheel, entire front end is cracked and loose. i take the engine out and it rattles... sheared con rod and pieces floating all over the place, get home and find the warranty info and my 2 week old engine isn't covered due to the circumstances. [:@] maybe i'll get another truggy in a year when im back from school, but i think im done for now.
Thanks for the info anyways.
