Default hellfire engine replacement

i'm changing the engine in my hellfire, i'm putting in a LRP Z.28R. i went to install it last night, put the motor mounts on set it in place and the back plate on the engine is higher than the mounts. is this common? has anyone heard of shimming a engine mount? it's out about an 1/8". is there a taller engine mount out there? help please i'm dying to see how it goes with this engine.

unless you have a part # A Main isn't much good to me, they tell me to contact HPI maybe they can help with a taller mount.

It might seem odd, but... It seems like OFNA and HPI share alot of similar specs. Try getting some RTR OFNA motor mounts. They are universal as far as engines go. Just check your specs on the hellfire chassis motor mount holes vs. ofna's.

You have the rtr? Maybe the ss mounts are higher?
I have seen on here or truggyracers a photo of a shimmed HF mount. The owner said it worked ok but i wouldnt trust it.
I know the lrp pullstart will not fit on the HF mounts due to the height but i thought the bump box version does?
