Anyone use the trinity .24 truggy engine? If so how is it ? I'm thinking of a trinity .21 or .24 & also looking at Rb concepts c6. It's going in a jammin x1 crt. Just can't decide. I know the rb last a long time & holds a tune , but what about Trinity engines. I can get the trinity for about 50 bucks less so price is not a big deal. Just wondering what you guys think. oh yeah it's not the modded version.

A dude on a German got the Extech, and has been disappointed(He also tried the Axe 25 and was disappointed with it too..) He's tried various pipes and plugs, and says it's just not all that - for the money.. NO, of course that shouldn't serve as a verdict. Maybe he's wrong.. But so far that's all I've heard about it.. If you've got the big bucks for the top Italian engines, the C6 would be my choice, cuz it's a safer buy for your money.. It's a known known, the Extech a known unknown.. Heh-heh....

Thanks, I was originally looking at the rb. I was thinking it was the safer choice also. May have to step down to the s-7 or maybe ws-7 not sure yet but i think it will def. be rb concepts as i have only heard good things about them.

This is totally hear say, but.
A fellow I know races around the state and has or had an extech 21, dont know if it was modded or not, but. The rumor is that he flipped or something and broke all the cooling fins off except for 2 or 3 within the first 2 or 3 mins of the race. He went on to finish the race, think he did well, but, everytime he pitted, the pit man took temps. hear say is that he ran at 400+ degrees for the duration of the 30 min race.
To me thats a pretty good indication of the quaility.

Yea there is a guy who runs a modded .21 at our track & that thing is wicked fast. He's been through 1 gal. & still has to get it at bdc before it will turn over & it runs in the low 200 high 190 range. That's why i was thinking of the .24

I was talking to a guy yesterday & he said the .24 is too much engine for a truggy. Said it basically just blows the tires off it. Now i'm kinda glad i went w/ the rb c-6 especially after what integra said. I would think w/ the economy the way it is we will prob. see more companies closing if thats what they did. I hope not many do .

I went on trinity web site & they did not have any parts listed for the .24. That helped me make up my mind to get the RB Concepts.
