Byron fuel?
Hey guys I have about two gallons of 30% losi Nitrotane through my 8t with a 427 engine. At $43.50 a gallon for Nitrotane I was thinking of making the drive to A-maine(2 1/2 hrs)and changing to Byrons Originals 30% for 89.99 a case (4 gallons) quite a savings. I only drive at the local track wich is tight with lots of jumps . And will race this month. Any comments on this fuel. Thanks for any info.

The fuel is good. Most will agree with that. Some say you should not change brands once you've run a significant amount through the engine. With that 427, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

RE: Byron fuel?
byron fuel is great,
changing fuel doesn't matter just retune,
I stick with one fuel for consistency of tune and how the fuel is affecting my engine

RE: Byron fuel?
Why do you run 30%..Just wondering is all..I did run Byron's but I went back to O'Donnell's..for me I liked it more, but I only Run 20% because it's cheaper and easier on your motors..I feel that the difference in me winning or losing a race has never been a HP problem, I have not been passed down the straights or pulled in the infield running 20% so my feelings are why spend the extra $$ when lack of HP is not the problem..but Byrons is ok..on the fuel prices where are you going? My local hobby shop sells Byrons 30% for $29..no case discounts but it's still not bad, I get my fuel (20%) for $23 a gallon.
