I'd say it will depend on consumer response to the rtr buggy package.
I know my Son has his heart set on a 2.0 rtr, just 'not very patiently' waiting for the release.

RE: 8IGHT-T 2.0 RTR???
so I'm thinking of buying one of these race rollers to see if there is a huge difference between my $160 Duratrax RAZE ST.
how much difference is there really between the race roller and RTR?
It is worth it to get the race roller? looking at losi webpage, only significant difference I see is the 2.0 flex chasse.

if your planning on racing....the Pro Kit is the only way to go.....the 8ight 1.0 would run circles around anything Duratrax....so the 2.0 will make it look like the RTR entry level truck it is.

Given the same level of tuning and driver skill I highly doubt that.
any reason why you think the pro kit is better? other than a butt dino?

I hope the 8T 2.0 is all that and then some, or I just wasted a bunch of $$$$.
Now I have 2 headaches, RC8T and the 8T 2.0.

Man!... Was just at a track with my RC8T..., and love it again!!.. What a truck.. Telling you - those cut Badlands on LPR Rulux Half-ups are THE JANK...
Was running my Mach 427 too - yet, again, won over to it.. I get all sucked up in this "you need a big-shot Italian engine", and the Mach just shreds.. I'll never be racing Adam Drake or even anybody half as good, so screw it.. The Mach GETS IT DONE...

It may "Gitter Done" but the fuel mileage sure wont in the long run.......despite Not running against Adam himself means Nothing....there Will be guys out there With motor's that can do 10 min a tank and still have enough fuel for a victory lap plus some......while you might be struggling Big time to make 8-9min Bone Dry.....its the fact that you dont "NEED" the best gear to win...but it Sure helps in the end.

RE: 8IGHT-T 2.0 RTR???
No joke, no lying, no overestimating - I get 10 minutes+ with the Mach... I gun it too.. I didn't time it today, and I was experimenting with an 053 pipe, as opposed to the Muggy pipe, but %100 I was getting ten minutes + with the Muggy pipe(and much better top end...)
ps This Mach is a good eight gallons old too. And I've never replaced anything on it. Or changed the Fioroni clutch shoes..(bearings a few times..)
