Default Whats the Differences in Hong Nor and Jammin?

Looking over the forums Ihave seen alot of different rides. Im currently running the X1 CRTand I am wondering what the difference between Hong Nor and Jammin Are? Also Iam considering either purchasing a new X2 kit or converting my X1 over.Is this going to be an imposible task? Ican't seem to find anything on it. Ihave found the buggy conversion kits but none for the truggy. All Ireally need to know Iguess would be the changes and parts i would need to buy. Thanks again.

To switch to an X2 you would need all new hardware. It would be cheaper to buy a new kit. Jammin is just the American name for Hong Nor.

Here's a link to one conversion:

If you're not in a hurry, you can getgoods deals on X2 parts on ebay. One person scored his conversion parts for less than the kit. Or, if you're lucky you can score a used X2 roller for cheap and use your X1 truggy for parts. I purchased my CRT X2 roller for $200.

Just an FYI also... Jammin is part of OFNA which is the same as HoBao, Hong Nor is the Parent company to all of them... or in other words... Hong Nor = OFNA, HoBao, & Jammin

OFNA & Jammin are the US side of Hoing Nor, and HoBao is the European side as memory serves...

Hong Nor is just re-badged as Jammin for the US & North America...

Here are Hong Nor X2 box shots in case you haven't seen them.

i would stick with the x1 for a while then switch later. but the cheapest way is to convert your x1 to an x2 or buy an used one off ebay. my dad converted his x1 to and x2 for like 250 but i have been seeing almost new x2 truggies for about 250 and i saw what looked to be almost brand new or atleast new chassis for 200 buy it now. but ebay is the cheapest route. i bought my buggy used on there and i didnt have one problem with it i didnt replace anything but one part on it the whole time and i ran it for a year before buying an x2 conversion.
