Buggy tyres on a truggy
I only bash.
I can get a set of new premount badland buggy tyres very cheap. Can i run them on a truggy with a drag mod os 28? They have the standard 17mm hex. I assume they will be alot lighter and smaller than standard truggy tyres. This will change the gearing and cause some issues such as grip/clutch?
I have tried MT badlands and they seem way too heavy and affect acceleration. Normal crimefighters etc wear out very quickly and struggle for grip. I was hoping the lighter but nobby buggy badlands mite grip and last longer?

If you put a 18 tooth bell on the engine the tires will work for you....I wouldn't run the stock gearing as you could easily over rev the engine and cause damage....
With that being said, with my powerful .28's I get the best acceleration for Badlands and Mulchers.... The typical race tires don't have anywhere near enough grip ..sure they are lighter, but all they do is spin........ If it wasn't for constantly eating up clutches I would be using Mulchers or Badlands when I bashed my Truggy.... The extra weight of the tires helped plant the power....
