RE: crt needs a new heart
that engine is modded
|
RE: crt needs a new heart
ORIGINAL: dominicevans that engine is modded Thats true but even the stock v spec is more than enough for a truggy. |
RE: crt needs a new heart

RE: crt needs a new heart
How about the the os 28
|
RE: crt needs a new heart
Os 28! Its got big balls and a good top speed. Moves a heavy truggy nicely.
|
RE: crt needs a new heart
Get a jammin .28 and just run a smaller insert with a JP-1 pipe. Good torque, and fuel economy....
|
RE: crt needs a new heart
Jammins definatly should have .28s or fully modded .21s in them. But since you say you run on technicle tracks, you shouldnt have much of a problem with fuel economy since you wont be on the throttle too hard. So therefore you should definatly get a race .28 but keep it stock. Theres some nice .28s out there that are good on fuel and of coarse, have plenty more power than any .21. The Novarossi .28, the OS .28, jammin .28. The one I have first hand experience with is the RB 928, this engine is a beast even when its not in tune. I have it on my st-rr and its nothing but wheel spinning power even under 1/4th throttle, this engine is the sh1t for any offroad truck. You should definatly look into those engines I mentioned for your truggy, and a good clutch.

RE: crt needs a new heart
try a go25,plenty of power and cheap as well.run it with an 086 they are quick
|
RE: crt needs a new heart
i have a ws7II on my crt.its OK.
If you put a .28, it will give you more low end... I put a .21 as I borrowed it from my other buggy... |

RE: crt needs a new heart
If you wanted to go mad, then there is always the AXE Rossi Cobra .25!! It's quite expensive but heard very good comments on it

RE: crt needs a new heart
ORIGINAL: INTEGRA No comment. Well am I right? The smaller engines when built right can move out pretty good. Same goes for cars and RC's. I wasnt cutting on your car just trying to make a point but I think it came out wrong. |
RE: crt needs a new heart
I had a Ninja .28 in my CRT, and I loved every second of it.

RE: crt needs a new heart
ORIGINAL: SaVaGe MaN SS yeah i was runnin an picco .28 8port with a fioroni 3 shoe with 2 ergal and 1 carbon and jp-4, ran perfect till i put the connecting rod through the side of the block :D |
RE: crt needs a new heart

RE: crt needs a new heart
had to be revving too high or somthing. even those traxxas 3.3 motors last longer than that (not by much though :D)
