RE: Hellfire vs Hyper st
had both, the hellfire is terrible imo. me and a freind used to laugh at how it had the turning circle of a cruise liner, hyper st is heavy but tough..go for it.

RE: Hellfire vs Hyper st
Hyper all the way. I would save the little bit of money and go with the Kit though since I think it is cheaper than the RTR and use the extra money to put towards a used specktrum or something and a motor and servos. I think you will be way happier.

also what about the losi muggy

RE: Hellfire vs Hyper st
ORIGINAL: pagani77 also what about the losi muggy It's not considered a truggy though. It's more of a monster truck. |
RE: Hellfire vs Hyper st
Muggy is awesome... It's not a monster truck due to the flat chassis and no transmission. It's a truggy on steroids. AWESOME truck, but it won't compete with competent truggy racers if you are looking to race. I am a big fan of the muggy just for its size and cool factor.

I call it a monster truck because it's not competitive with the truggies, as a result it runs in the monster truck class here. So, Monster truck in my book. ;) It gave my revo a run for the money for a while but that was it. :D:D |
RE: Hellfire vs Hyper st
Both are not what I would call "good truggies", fair but their are much truggies on the market for similar money..The Muggy has clutch problems, strange spec on the hubs (hexes 20mm) the excessively wide tires is the cause for the clutch problems, switching to 17mm hexes is the most recommended hop up..but overall the Muggy is good..a better choice than the Hyper or Hellfire..:)

The wider the tires, the more resistant you'll have.
