Ziroli P40
Hi i have picked up a one flight Ziroli P40 with built up body and foam and balsa wings and tail plane it has no retracts or flaps, it has flown once with a 45cc S/Tiger and had a bad landing and put away/stored must be quite a few years.
I am in the process of stripping it down repairing and refinish with flaps and retracts and a new gas engine, the body i have already stripped with a heat gun but the wing and tail section will vanish/melt if i put a heat gun near them and also perhaps chemical paint remover may go through the balsa sheeting and melt the foam.
Has anyone any idea,s apart from the obvious elbow grease and sandpaper to get the thick paint of the foam/balsa sections?.
PS. does anyone want a S/Tiger 45cc as its going to go on e-bay.
