My fav part in the BoB movie is when the newby is landing a spitfire, bouncing it all over the field, and the two veterans look at each other and roll their eyes One of them says something like "it's enough to make you weep". Reminds me of my landings

PropTop, Thanks so much for the name of that movie. I knew I wasn't crazy! I saw it so long ago but I remembered a lot of the movie, just not the name. I am going to try and get a copy.

Sadly, I read in the paper today that Susannah York has passed on 1/15/11 at the age of 72. She played Christopher Plummer's wife in the movie.

How about 663 squadron, and The Dam Busters, all these good old movies. There was also one about a P-47 FS but I can't remember the name. Oh I just found it it's called "Fighter Squadron" what else.

theres an original Stuka at the Omaka airfield in Blenuim NZ its not flyable so is only a static display next to it are a spitfire and a huricane all part of the man who made Lord of the Rings sagas(Peter Jackson)collection and hes got lots of vintage aircraft

you really want to see a decent movie watch ;Blue Max; but then again I love WW 1 planes
