Pretty evenly but perhaps not exactly?

I noticed that the relationship between the stripes and crosses is not the same between your color picture and a B/W one on that Polish site.

edit:
I think the crosses are in the same place but the stripes are different between those photos.

I'm with invermast, the woing does look very clean, but I also had the ESM/KMP fully composite Ju-87 and the wing although also panel line'd like the fuse, it did have a bit of weight about it so there is a trade off.

Even though I have the bob holman Dora here waiting to be built, I thinking this might be a good use of the Sierra retracts and DL-50 I have waiting around for it....

I'm off to price it up and find out how long it will be until it arrive in Oz.

Thanks

dave

Ok just got back home... The wing is fully sheeted on top but not on the bottom. You can't really see it you have to feel for it...If you were wanting to strip the covering and glass it the open areas can easily be sheeted and sanded. All the ribs are cap stripped in the open areas...

I talked to Darrell at Sierra the other day. I don't believe that he is going to make a gear exclusively for this plane. He offers 190 gear in this size though.. You would have to do some work to make it fit. I believe his upper part is longer than the bay is in the ESM 190.

I’ve yet to receive mine, please show the front of the fuse/ fire wall area. I’m curious on how they placed it and wanted to see how simple it will be to place the DLE55 in.

interesting.. sounds like a good trade-off for a friend who wants a Dora/TA152.. may have to do a major ARF-bash later on

To me the plane look really good.. Even of i wanted to strip it and glass the wing it would be well worth it.. You can barley buy a kit for this price... I would change out he light ply main spar joiner to a A/C ply joiner...

Here is a couple pic's of the firewall and cowl..

cowl is 9.25" in diameter 4.75" deep. the firewall is recessed about 1-5/8". The front of the fuse is 8.75" in diameter....

That cowl is the perfect set up to use those crazy strong earth magnets to hold it on.

Doh!!!

I talked with the Australian inporter and he effectivly said at least another 6 weeks....[X(] 1 1/2 months before we even get to look at one in person![:@]

In Oz dollars they are going to be at the $699 mark (1AUD = 1.03USD so pretty much $100 more that what the US guys get it for[]), and about $1000 with the ESM retracts.

Well chaps, keep posting those pic's because some of us are going to have to live vicariously through you guys.

Thanks

Ok I talked to Darrell again today. He was able to get a good look at the ESM 190 gear this weekend at Toledo. He said there was about a 1/4" difference in the frame length and maybe a 1/4" in the
Strut length. He is sending me a set of his gear to check the fit. Also the ESM gear does not include a retractable tailwheel It is a fixed gear. If Sierra gear will work he will offer his gear and full set retractable mains and tail wheel for $600.

I will check the fit and show pic's when I get them in the first of the week...

Ty, I'm showing they do include a retract tailwheel ESM AIR UP/AIR DOWN RETRACT SET comes complete with AIR TANK, AIR LINE, FITINGS, AIR VALVE AND OLEO STRUTS. As an added bonus you also get the retractable TAILWHEEL UNIT with beautiful macnined main and tailwheel aluminum alloy wheels as shown in photo. These are a tremendous value when you consider the wheels alone are worth approx $95! ESM retracts and struts are made and pre-sized at the factory for this exact model ensuring minimal amount of work to install.

I understand what you are saying. But Darrell Saw Bob from ARF pros and had a new in the box set of FW 190 gear and he said it did not have a retractable tail wheel. It had just a machined fork... I am with you pic's from YT shows a retractable tail wheel... I am just checking the fit for those who wish to see if they fit into the wing....

I know there is no real comparison in the quality of the gear
