Looking for P-40 Warhark
Trying to decide on a 60 size P-40 Warhark in which I hope to install a gas engine. I am currently considering the Hanger 9 or the Top Flight models and would like comments/feedback on which of the two would be the better choice.
Looking forward to some solid advise.

RE: Looking for P-40 Warhark
It'll have to be Top Flight. H9 discontinued the P-40. I have one and it flys ok. Has a pretty bad tail waggle when at full throttle. Tried new servos, linkages, hinges, everything. At 3/4 throttle it does all right. I only run a OS .90 fs on it. Others have said they dont have the problem.

RE: Looking for P-40 Warhark
For a 60 size P-40 the Top Flite is the only one that I know of. The VQ 60 size is a little too small. I'd use a DLE 20. In fact I'm converting a kit built TF P-40 to gas power and using a DLE 20. Taking out a OS 120 FS.

Edwin/RBean,
Your feedback has been well received. Apart from Top Flight and VQ, are you or anyone else aware of other P-40 models worthy of consideration for pairing with the DLE 20? Iam looking for a quality ARF with good flying tendensies. Unfortunately work pressures wont allow me time to put together a kit at this time.
Thanks again

The VQ flys better then the Top Flite P-40 kit, no experience with the ARF. P-40's generally don't fly as well as a some other warbirds; such as a P-47, which is the bird I would put that DLE-20 in.
