Default WTB Fema Starter for G62

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can buy a Fema starter for a G62 in the US? Hobby Lobby does not carry them any more, I am not finding any listings on Ebay or RCU.

Thanks

Steve

Steve,

Try Toni Clark. Here is a link to his catalogue. Check page 110

Good luck.

What is a Fema starter? I bought a spring starter for my G62 from Chief Aircraft.

Hi Warbird Lover,

I have see the Toni Clark website. Do you have any experience ordering from them?

Hi oldtyme,

The Fema starter is a onboard electric starter for the engine. Flip a switch on the TX and start the engine. I want to get it for 3 reasons. Safety no hand in the prop, the TF GS P-47 I am building always need nose weight for CG so why not make it functional. I think it is really cool and always wanted one.

Hey Steve,

If you find one let me know............that's the warbird I'm building and might consider what you are............that indeed would be neat!!!
Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you find the item and where and how much........that's something I never considered. I saw one of these once in the early 80's and it definitely was impressive.

thanks,
Andy
