I was just at my LHS, and saw a FW-190 made by Dare Design. It looked neat...a cross between a kit and a ARC. Has anyone heard of these?? Any feedback at all??
Thanks

I haven't built one, but several guys in our club that are into the small electrics have. No major complaints I have heard, and the ones I have seen, seem to fly nice.

This is not an electric plane. The spec are:
Wing Span: 57"
Length: 45"
Wing Area: 550 sq. in.
Weight: 6 - 7 lb.
Engine: 60 2-Stroke
80 4-Stroke
Radio: Minimum 4 - 6 Channel
I see on their site that they do have smaller planes. This particular kit has foam wings that are already sheeted, and the fuselage is built. Very little to do except join wings, put on the turtle deck, install landing gear (fixed or retracts), and cut out the ailerons. Can cover in either monokote or glass. I had never heard of the company before, and was wonding on how well it flys...any bad habits??
Here is the link to the kit

Thanks for the info

Interesting! Looks like they are expanding their product line. I knew they had a few "larger" kits, but the one on your link is new to me. Looks pretty neat...now you have me curious.
I hope someone else jumps on here with some information!

I have the Dare Design FW-190. All in all, I think I like it. I generally put together ARFs, so this was much more building than I generally do. It came out about 8 lbs and I put a ST 75 on it. Needed about 1 lb of nose weight to balance.
First flight was just fine (back in August). I had a servo fail on the second flight. The plane is back together and ready to go again.
I have a picture of it in my gallery. Maybe I can get it attached here.
