They probably weigh in at about 2.5 pounds. Your gonna need a larger size air cylinder to lift them up into the wing.
Anyone have an accurate scale to weigh them?

Both are just over a pound total. Don't know why your being so harsh with the misinformation.

Received my 1/7 scale B-25 wheels/brakes today from Dennis. It appears that after going through a lot of problems Dennis and his Dad are back in the shop and it appears for now that they are fulfilling earlier orders. I suppose the same delays will still be in place when making new orders but at least they are back in production.

The workmanship is excellent as the accompanying pic will show.

Cheers,

IR3

That's got to be a new record, didn't you say you ordered them in May? I want to order this same set of wheels for an upcoming project I may start next winter. After this update, I'm going to order them right now Even with the wait, they look like they are worth it.

Default Clarification on 1/7 scale B-25 Wheels

When they arrived, they were 1/8 scale. He said to return them and he would make up a set of 1/7 scale wheels for me. Never received the new ones and after many phone calls, nothing.

I was looking into some 1/5 scale Me-109 wheels when I found this thread. I purchased my first set from Glennis almost 20 years ago and they were heavy but sturdy. I have a set of 1/5 OV-10 wheels he made and they were much lighter but still great quality. I ran into this obit on the web which might explain the shutdown. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/tri...4862&fhid=7685 My condolences to the Rastetter family. I realize these vendors sometimes have some trying business practices but we need these specialized vendors to make our pride and joy creations look great. I hope Dennis continues the business or sells it off to keep these products out there for the RC community.. Best Regards to all Tero T in Toronto
