Contemplating a D.S. B-29 169" Build.
I have been away from this hobby for a few years. I sold off everything and now i am thinking is getting back into it. In the meantime i am thinking of building a Don Smith 169" B-29. I won't be the pilot but i would like to build it since i consider myself a veteran builder i think i would enjoy this project. The B-29 is my favorite bomber and i have always wanted one. I have a 80" Lanier T-Craft i will break back into flying again with this summer.
Can you guys give me some ideas about what i can expect in building this big bird?
I will be buying a complete wood kit, Century retracts.
Thanks,
Zack

A hell of a lot of building, but defiantely an enjoyable project! I have the DS plans for the B17, but then I got a deal on an American Eagle kit, so I'll be building that one instead. I'dlove to build the 29! I also have an American Eagle B25 in the wings, you got to love these bombers!
